NBA

The Detroit Pistons announced Tuesday that guard Derrick Rose will be out at least two weeks with a Grade 2 ankle sprain.

An MRI on Monday confirmed the sprain. Rose will begin treatment and will be evaluated in two weeks, the team said.

Rose injured the ankle Sunday in a loss to the Sacramento Kings.

The 2011 NBA MVP has been having a comeback season with the Pistons, averaging 18.1 points and 5.6 assists for the rebuilding team.
