4:47 PM ET Philadelphia Phillies right-hander Jake Arrieta underwent knee surgery a few weeks ago, manager Gabe Kapler said Wednesday. Kapler told reporters that Arrieta had the surgery, which he described as “a meniscus cleanup” after he injured his left knee while weight training. “There were no structural issues,” Kapler told reporters, according to Philly.com.
