Denver Nuggets All-Star center Nikola Jokic has cleared quarantine and will watch his team’s Tuesday night practice in Orlando, Florida.
Jokic still has to undergo physical testing by the Nuggets before he can practice with the team, a source confirmed to ESPN. The team posted photos of Jokic on the NBA campus at Walt Disney World Resort.

The All-Star center did not fly with the Nuggets on their team flight to Orlando because of travel issues. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski and Brian Windhorst reported that Jokic tested positive for the coronavirus while in Serbia, which temporarily delayed his return to the United States. He then had to test negative several times before traveling from Serbia to the United States and to the NBA campus.
Once at the Walt Disney World Resort, players have to quarantine for up to 48 hours and test negative two more times if they fly privately to Orlando per NBA mandate. If a player flies commercially to Orlando, he must have three consecutive negative tests before resuming basketball activities.
Nuggets head coach Michael Malone has repeatedly said that Jokic is feeling great.
Denver remains short-handed, as Malone has said that the Nuggets are awaiting positive news on members of the team travel list who did not accompany the team to Orlando. Malone would not reveal the names of those who are not in Orlando.
