Titans D-coordinator Pees retires for 2nd time

NFL

Titans defensive coordinator Dean Pees announced his retirement on Monday, a day after Tennessee’s playoff run ended in the AFC Championship Game.

Pees, 70, ended a short retirement in January of 2018 to become the defensive coordinator on Mike Vrabel’s staff after Vrabel was named the team’s head coach.

Just weeks earlier he had retired as the Baltimore Ravens‘ defensive coordinator after six seasons in that role.

He also was a defensive coordinator for four seasons with the New England Patriots from 2006-09.
