Sports and entertainment world react to Wilder’s one-punch KO of Ortiz

Boxing

Deontay Wilder nearly lost his heavyweight title to veteran Luis Ortiz last March, and in Saturday night’s rematch, he wasn’t exactly wowing anyone during the first half of the fight.

But in Round 7, Wilder showed that all he needs is one opening to close the show, delivering a straight right to Ortiz’s forehead that knocked him on his back and ended the bout in Las Vegas.

Wilder made his 10th consecutive successful defense of his WBC heavyweight title, improving to 42-0-1 with 41 KOs, which had the world of sports and entertainment singing his praises on Twitter.
