Mauricio “Shogun” Rua isn’t done yet.

The former UFC light heavyweight champion will meet Sam Alvey on Nov. 16 in UFC Fight Night in Sao Paulo, Brazil, sources told ESPN.

Rua (26-11), 37, has won four of his past five fights. He hasn’t competed since his December 2018 TKO win over Tyson Pedro. Hailing from nearby Curitiba, Brazil, Rua is considered one of the all-time MMA greats. He has been competing professionally since 2002.

Alvey (33-13-1) has lost his past three fights. His last victory was a split-decision win over Gian Villante in June 2018.

The event, which will air on ESPN+, will be headlined by a light heavyweight bout between Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza and Jan Blachowicz.
