Florida State starting receiver D.J. Matthews did not travel with the Seminoles for their game against Virginia on Saturday night.

A team spokesman told reporters that Matthews “did not meet expectations this week.”

Matthews started the first two games of the season, and has a team-high 11 receptions for 66 yards and a touchdown.

FSU will also be without starting punter Logan Tyler, who remains suspended indefinitely for a violation of team rules.
