Jadon Sancho has spoken out about the detrimental impact of racism in football, following the abuse given to Romelu Lukaku at Inter Milan.

Manchester United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka has withdrawn from the England squad for this month’s Euro 2020 qualifiers against Bulgaria and Kosovo with a back issue, the FA said on Tuesday.

Wan-Bissaka, 21, was among four uncapped players called up by England boss Gareth Southgate along with Tyrone Mings, James Maddison and Mason Mount.

But the right-back will have to wait longer to make his debut.

“Aaron Wan-Bissaka has withdrawn from the England squad. The Manchester United right-back has returned to his club due to a back issue,” the FA said in a statement.

“With Trent Alexander-Arnold and Kieran Trippier already included in Gareth Southgate’s now 24-man squad, no replacements are planned.”

Wan-Bissaka moved from Crystal Palace to United during the summer transfer window, and Southgate had said he was impressed with how the player handled that switch having started all four of their Premier League games this season.

He was a part of the England team at the European Under-21 Championships in the summer.

England take on Bulgaria at Wembley on Sept. 7 and Kosovo at Southampton’s St Mary’s stadium three days later.
