Georgia dismisses top returning WR Holloman

Jeremiah Holloman, one of Georgia’s top wide receivers in 2018, has been dismissed from the program.

“Jeremiah Holloman no longer represents the University of Georgia football program,” Georgia head coach Kirby Smart said in a statement. “We expect every member of our team to uphold the highest standards and values of the University of Georgia and Georgia football. It is disappointing when this does not happen.”

Holloman played in all 14 games last season, accumulating 418 receiving yards and five touchdowns.

He was fourth on Georgia in receiving yards in 2018, behind only receivers Riley Ridley and Mecole Hardman and tight end Isaac Nauta — all of whom were selected at the NFL draft in April following their junior seasons.
