Brazil had two goals ruled out by VAR as they stumbled to a 0-0 draw against Venezuela in their second group match at the Copa America on Tuesday night.
The Selecao returned to their traditional yellow jerseys after taking the field in white kits for the first time in 60 years for the 3-0 group-opening win against Bolivia on Friday.
Despite having the majority of possession by a landslide it was Venezuela that came closest to scoring, with Salomon Rondon heading just wide of the far post on a rapid-fire counter-attack.
Tite went to his bench at half-time in search of some scoring punch, substituting Everton‘s Richarlison for Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus.
And the move looked to have paid off on the hour mark when Jesus scored from close range, but the goal was waved off after a video review with Roberto Firmino being ruled offside while assisting on the goal.
With boos raining down from their supporters, Brazil looked to have scored again through Philippe Coutinho, but once again the referee went to VAR and overruled the goal for offside on Firmino.
The result leaves Brazil level with Peru on four points atop Group A, but ahead on goal difference to set up a juicy group-stage match between the two for first place.
