When does the 2019-20 Premier League season start and end?

The 2019-20 Premier League season will kick off on the weekend of Saturday, Aug. 10. It is likely the opening match will be brought forward to the Friday night for television broadcast.

The transfer window will close before the season begins, at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 8.

The full fixture list for the new season will be published at 9 a.m. BST on Thursday, June 13. 

Norwich and Sheffield United have been promoted to the Premier League, and will be joined by one of Aston Villa, Derby, Leeds, and West Brom. 

The Premier League will use VAR for the first time in all games.

The season will end on Sunday, May 17.
