Joel Embiid trolls Timberwolves after big win

NBA

The Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 149-107 on Tuesday night in Jimmy Butler‘s first match against the team he was traded from on November 12. After the game, center Joel Embiid had some playful comments directed at Minnesota.

The Sixers big man poked fun at Butler’s infamous October practice in which he demanded to scrimmage with the bench players against the Minnesota starters. The practice included confrontations with president of basketball operations and coach Tom Thibodeau (since fired), general manager Scott Layden and teammates Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins. Butler was traded to Philadelphia three weeks later.

Meanwhile, Butler’s postgame Instagram caption was more veiled.
