The transfer window for Europe’s biggest clubs is open again. Transfer Talk has been scouring the world’s media and setting our correspondents loose to see who could be heading to/out of your club this month.
‘Denis, Denis, I’m so in love with you’
Is what Barcelona are currently singing to Denis Suarez to stop him signing for Arsenal, more or less.
According to the Mirror, Barca don’t want to sell the attacking midfielder, despite interest from several clubs.
Arsenal have been reportedly sounding out Suarez and a buy-out clause is believed to be in his contract.
However, Barcelona don’t want to lose the 25-year-old, although he’s only played 17 minutes of league football this season.

Introducing Bayern’s new No. 10?
An iconic shirt number is one of the ways that Bayern Munich are trying to tempt Chelsea starlet Callum Hudson-Odoi over to Germany, reports the Scottish Sun.
The Bundesliga holders want to wrap up the 18-year-old’s signature this month in a £30 million deal. With Arjen Robben set to depart at the end of the season, that leaves a hole to be filled, both on the pitch and in the squad number list: Next season, the prestigious No. 10 could be Hudson-Odoi’s.
Chelsea reportedly want a deal worth £36m for the attacker, but are considering taking a lower fee now rather than lose him for a compensation amount next season.
Tammy transfer tied up
Wolverhampton Wanderers have agreed a deal with Chelsea to take Tammy Abraham on loan until the end of the season, reports the West Midlands-based Express and Star.
Intriguingly, the deal doesn’t include an option to buy the 21-year-old at the end of it, making it a pure loan move and a step up from his current one at Aston Villa.
According to the report, Wolves are likely to be footing the bill for most, if not all, of Abraham’s £55,000-a-week wages.
Josh Ma-who?
Sunderland’s 20-year-old striker Josh Maja has been linked with several teams this winter, and it seems like everyone’s talking about him. Everyone expect the manager of one of the teams in for him, as reported in the Mirror.
Roy Hodgson was asked about Maja, who Crystal Palace are linked with, but confessed to having no idea who the player was.
He was, though, pretty sure that his recruitment team would be able to tell you all about the youngster who’s scored 14 goals in League One this season.
Football Whispers’ top five emerging whispers
Christian Fuchs to Aston Villa: 4.0
According to the Mirror, Aston Villa have enquired about getting the Leicester left-back on loan. The Austria international is currently a firm second-choice behind Ben Chilwell and has made just two appearances this season. However, Leicester would want Villa to take on all of Fuchs’ reported £60,000 per week wages for the move to go ahead.
Divock Origi to Fulham: 2.5
First Dominic Solanke and now potentially Divock Origi, are Liverpool clearing some striker space for someone? According to the Sun, Fulham are prepared to pay £15m for Origi, who’s only had two Premier League appearances this season. He made them count though, scoring against Everton and getting an assist against Burnley.
Miranda to West Ham: 2.3
West Ham appear to be in the market for some defensive cover, according to Corriere dello Sport. Miranda, 34, would like to leave current club Inter Milan to get more game time. The Hammers have apparently made an approach, with Inter’s asking price said to be around €20m.
Kostas Manolas to Manchester United: 1.8
Roma’s Manolas appears to be the latest in United’s list of top-class centre-backs to pursue, but they’re willing to wait. According to TalkSport, the Greek defender has a release clause in his contract of just £32m that kicks in this summer, which has United understandably interested.
Alvaro Morata to Sevilla: 1.7
Morata could be making a move back to Spain, with Tuttosport reporting that he is close to joining Sevilla. He’s been linked with AC Milan previously, in a move that could see Gonzalo Higuain go the other way, but rumours of the La Liga team’s interest have been mounting in the past few days.
