Draymond Green (toe sprain) out Sat. vs. Mavs

NBA

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green has been ruled out for Saturday’s game against the Mavericks in Dallas with a lingering toe sprain.

Green missed two games last week against Milwaukee Bucks and Brooklyn Nets because of the sprained right toe and right foot that has “lingering soreness.”

He was suspended for Tuesday’s win over the Atlanta Hawks for “conduct detrimental to the team” following a verbal altercation with teammate Kevin Durant during and after a Monday night loss to the LA Clippers.

In Green’s return from the suspension, the Warriors were blown out by the Houston Rockets, 107-86, on Thursday night. It was the Warriors’ worst performance of the season.

Green will join Stephen Curry (left groin strain) on the sideline. The Warriors had already announced on Wednesday that Curry would not play during the three games on their current road trip to Texas.
