WBO junior welterweight world titleholder Maurice Hooker, of Dallas, Texas, faces Mexico’s Alex Saucedo in a fight that will air live on ESPN in the United States at midnight ET on Friday night from the Cheseapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Hooker (24-0-3, 16 KOs), won the title by traveling to Manchester, England and defeating Terry Flanagan by split decision in June.
Saucedo (28-0, 18 KOs), who now lives in Oklahoma, is fighting for his first world title. He has won four of his last five fight by stoppage.
