MADRID — Real Madrid will travel to Spain’s African enclave of Melilla to open the Copa del Rey.

Madrid was paired with the third-division club UD Melilla in Friday’s draw, the first to include the top two tiers of Spanish clubs.

Defending champion Barcelona will face third-division side Leonesa, while Atletico Madrid drew fourth-tier club Sant Andreu.

The first legs will be played at the smaller club’s stadium between Oct. 31 and Nov. 1. The return legs will be held between Dec. 4 and 6.

Melilla and Ceuta are Spain’s two enclaves on the northern African coast.
