Milenkovic to Manchester City
Dubbed the “new Nemanja Vidic,” Serbia defender Nikola Milenkovic could be heading to Manchester, but to bolster Pep Guardiola’s City side, according to Calciomercato.com. Serie A leaders Juventus have taken a look at the Fiorentina man while City, not for the first time, sent a scout to run the rule over the 20-year-old in the game against Atalanta.
Nicholas Pepe to Arsenal
Lille’s exciting young talent Nicolas Pepe is a wanted man and Arsenal continue to be linked with the 23-year-old, reports the Daily Mirror. Barcelona and Sevilla are also tracking the player while Everton have recently scouted him. Lille’s Ligue 1 rivals, Lyon, have already had a sizeable bid of £26 million turned down but remain interested.
Phil Foden to Juventus
Juventus are thought to be ready to bid for Manchester City’s highly rated 18-year-old Phil Foden, and could offer regular first-team football to help persuade the young star to put pen to paper, according to Tuttosport. Despite talk of a new contract at City worth £25,000-a-week, it hasn’t deterred the Old Lady.
Jadon Sancho to Juventus
The Serie A champions are also looking to swoop for Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho, Tuttosport reports. With just 124 minutes under his belt in the Bundesliga, the 18-year-old has managed to provide the most assists in the top five European leagues. Having this week signed a contract extension with the German club, Juventus could find it difficult to land the youngster.
Danny Welbeck to Everton
Everton continue to monitor Danny Welbeck’s situation at Arsenal, according to the Daily Mirror. The 27-year-old’s contract expires next summer, meaning he’s free to talk with foreign clubs from January. The Toffees looked at a potential move last summer, though a transfer didn’t materialise. And with his situation at Arsenal seemingly still no closer to being resolved, Marco Silva could be looking to make a cut-price move.
