A yet-to-be announced Bellator card will feature two of the promotion’s brightest young stars swapping roles.

The Aug. 17 event will be headlined by Bellator bantamweight champion Darrion Caldwell (12-1) moving up to featherweight to face former UFC fighter Noad Lahat (12-3), multiple sources told ESPN.

The main card will also feature the bantamweight debut of undefeated prospect James Gallagher (7-0), who’ll be returning to action after suffering a knee injury earlier this year, sources say.

The promotion is expected to formally announce the event and its location in the coming days.
