Rashford’s Man Utd exile enters 4th straight game

Football

Marcus Rashford has been omitted from the Manchester United squad for a fourth straight game as Ruben Amorim’s team head to Molineux to take on Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Rashford has not featured in a matchday squad since Dec. 12 in the UEFA Europa League against Viktoria Plzen, and he has since conducted an interview in which he said he was ready for a new challenge after spending his entire professional career at United.

Amorim has repeatedly insisted that the England international’s absence from the team is not down to his request to move on but a result of his performances.

United enter the game at Wolves 13th in the table after a difficult start to the campaign that has seen the club sack Erik ten Hag and appoint former Sporting CP head coach Amorim.
