Texas Tech transfer wide receiver Micah Hudson signed with Texas A&M on Sunday night.
Hudson, a former five-star recruit, was the No. 8 wide receiver and No. 26 overall player in ESPN’s transfer rankings. He will have three more seasons of eligibility for the Aggies.
The 6-foot, 195-pound wideout from Temple, Texas, was the No. 22 recruit in the 2024 ESPN 300 and the highest-ranked prospect to sign with the Red Raiders since ESPN began ranking recruits in 2006.
Hudson caught eight passes for 123 yards during his true freshman season, earning one start while playing behind Florida transfer Caleb Douglas. He missed Texas Tech’s final four games due to a stress fracture.
He’ll join Noah Thomas and Terry Bussey as a key target in Texas A&M’s passing attack entering Year 2 under coach Mike Elko. The Aggies had the No. 93 passing offense in FBS and went through a midseason change at quarterback, benching starter Conner Weigman for Marcel Reed. Weigman transferred to Houston earlier this month.
The Aggies went 8-4 in Elko’s debut season and will face USC in the SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl on Dec. 27 (10:30 p.m. ET, ESPN).
