Safety Vonn Bell has agreed to a one-year contract with the Cincinnati Bengals, agent David Canter announced Thursday.

“El capitán Is returning to the JUNGLE. Let’s be great. Congratulations to @Vonn on agreeing to terms to return to @Bengals,” Canter posted on X.

It’s a reunion for Bell, who left the Bengals last year to sign a three-year contract with the Carolina Panthers. Bell was released by the Panthers on Wednesday.

Last season for the Panthers, he started 13 games, finishing with an interception and 69 tackles.

Bell, 29, started 48 games for the Bengals from 2020 to ’23, during which he was a team captain and had five interceptions and 288 tackles. He set a career best with 114 tackles in his first season in Cincinnati.

Drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the second round of the 2016 draft, he has 705 tackles, 15 forced fumbles, 7 interceptions and 9.5 sacks in his career.
