Liverpool earned a hard-fought 1-0 win against Burnley at Turf Moor on Sunday to keep their title hopes alive.
Fabinho scored the winning goal in the latter stages of the first half as Liverpool cut Manchester City‘s lead at the top to nine points with a game in hand.

Jurgen Klopp’s side were also able to recall Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane in the starting lineup for the first time since January following the Africa Cup of Nations.
The result sees Liverpool continue their unbeaten run in all competitions where they haven’t lost since Dec. 28 at Leicester City.
Both sides started the game well and Alisson produced a fine save from Wout Weghorst‘s effort while Nick Pope also denied Naby Keita.
Burnley also failed to make the most of several chances and were made to rue their misses as Fabinho was first to pounce from a flick on from a free-kick in the 41st minute.
The second-half was a much closer affair with Burnley once again failing to convert their opportunities.
Liverpool managed to control the game in the latter stages and went away with three vital points.
Burnley will see this as a missed opportunity and remain rooted to the bottom of the table, seven points from safety, but having played two fewer games than Newcastle United in 17th place.
