QB Jackson returns to practice after 2 days out

NFL

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson returned to practice Friday, putting him in line to start Sunday’s game at the unbeaten Denver Broncos.

Jackson moved around during the media viewing portion of practice and didn’t appear to favor his back, which had kept him out of practice the past two days. He threw on the run, moved around in the pocket and even leaped in the air when an assistant threw him the ball.

Coach John Harbaugh said Jackson was a full participant in Friday’s practice.

This was only the second time in Jackson’s four-year career that he had been sidelined for consecutive practices. He has also never been sidelined for a game because of an injury.

Ravens offensive coordinator Greg Roman said Thursday that Jackson was dealing with “a little back flare-up” but didn’t think it was serious.
