Son Heung-Min, Gareth Bale, and Lucas Moura scored in the first half while Carlos Vinicius added a late goal as Tottenham Hotspur cruised to a 4-1 win over Wolfsberger in Europa League round-of-32 action on Thursday.

Due to travel restrictions in Austria, the match was moved from Wolfsberger’s home stadium to Puskas Arena in Budapest.

The win boosted Jose Mourinho’s side after a 3-0 thrashing to Manchester City over the weekend in the Premier League.

With Harry Kane not making the trip to Hungary, Spurs were able to race to a commanding lead in a match that saw Dele Alli and Bale make rare starts.

Son opened up the barrage in the 13th minute when he headed in Bale’s low cross in the penalty area. The Wales captain then doubled the lead in the 28th minute when he charged to the touchline, cut back to shake off a defender, and fired a tight-angle shot over keeper Alexander Kofler.

In the 34th minute Moura then effectively sealed the match with an impressive and easy finish after a throughball from Matt Doherty.

Vinicius, on loan from Benfica, capped Tottenham’s evening in the 87th minute when he prodded in Erik Lamela‘s pass.

Wolfsberger were unlucky to hit the woodwork twice in the game, with Michael Liendl’s converted penalty in the 55th minute being their only tally on the evening.
