Hawks’ Gallinari (ankle) out at least 2 weeks

Atlanta Hawks forward Danilo Gallinari has a right ankle sprain and will be evaluated in two weeks, the team said on Saturday.

Gallinari exited Thursday’s loss to the Brooklyn Nets with the injury, playing only three minutes and scoring five points.

The Hawks said in a statement that an MRI confirmed the sprain “with associated swelling and inflammation.”

Gallinari is in his first season with Atlanta. In 12 seasons, he has averaged 16.1 points, 4.9 rebounds and two assists.
