The New York Knicks are 6-21 — level with the Atlanta Hawks for the worst record in the NBA’s Eastern Conference, a year after finishing with the worst record in the entire league. But don’t call them unlucky.
According to The Athletic’s Mike Vorkunov, the Knicks’ four-game road trip that just wrapped up Sunday included “Star Wars” theme nights at all four opponents’ arenas: at Portland, Golden State, Sacramento and Denver.

Yes, the Knicks are still headed for a seventh consecutive season of not making the playoffs. But at least they’ll be ready for “The Rise of Skywalker” when it’s released on Friday.
