Jaguars rule out CB Ramsey against Panthers

NFL

The Jacksonville Jaguars have ruled out cornerback Jalen Ramsey for Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers.

Ramsey will miss his second straight game after playing in 51 consecutive contests to start his career. He has not practiced this week, with the team listing him with a back injury.

He also has an ongoing trade request, which he made Sept. 15 following a heated argument with coach Doug Marrone on the sideline during a game against the Houston Texans and a much-less-public exchange with personnel chief Tom Coughlin.

But Jaguars owner Shad Khan told The Associated Press on Wednesday that he has no plan to trade the disgruntled cornerback.
