Liverpool’s recent win over Burnley was a club record 13th Premier League victory in a row and it would take a brave punter to bet against them extending that sequence against Newcastle. The Reds are averaging three goals a game in the Premier League so far this season and are 1/7 on to beat the Magpies at Anfield.
The one glimmer of hope for Newcastle is the fact that Liverpool have conceded in five of their six games so far this season. In Virgil van Dijk they may boast UEFA’s Player of the Year and the leading candidate in the race for the Ballon d’Or, but opponents have continued to find joy behind Liverpool’s high defensive line so far this term. Newcastle have scored in each of their last three league games, so 7/4 about Liverpool winning this and both teams finding the net looks a tempting play.

The First Goal Flutter
Harry Kane looks the obvious choice at 13/5 to notch first when Tottenham host Crystal Palace on Saturday. The England captain has scored seven goals in six games for club and country so far this season and can blast Spurs to a much needed three points in north London. Tottenham are seven points adrift of Liverpool at the top of the table and need to start getting some wins on the board to have a realistic shout at another top-four finish.

Napoli’s first two Serie A games have featured an astonishing 14 goals and they look good things to beat Sampdoria at home on Saturday. The Partenopei, led by diminutive striker Lorenzo Insigne, might concede but ultimately should be too hot for a winless Sampdoria in Naples.
