Vijay Shankar out of World Cup with toe injury

Vijay Shankar‘s World Cup is over. The news was confirmed by the BCCI on Monday, a day after he missed the England clash at Edgbaston because of a toe injury. Mayank Agarwal is set to fly out as his replacement and will join the squad later this week. India have two more fixtures remaining, against Bangladesh and Sri Lanka on July 2 and July 6 respectively.
