Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos‘s wedding to long-time partner Pilar Rubio on Saturday had a guest list that was a veritable Who’s Who of Spanish football.
Guests at the Cathedral of Seville included Ballon d’Or holder Luka Modric and other Madrid teammates past and present such as David Beckham, Roberto Carlos, Marco Asensio, Mateo Kovacic, Alvaro Morata and Keylor Navas. Also in attendance were several of Ramos’ Spain international colleagues like Barcelona stars Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba, AC Milan’s Pepe Reina and Villarreal’s Santi Cazorla.
However, one former Bernabeu star conspicuous by his absence was Cristiano Ronaldo, who left the club for Juventus last summer.
