Ukraine beat South Korea to claim U20 World Cup

Ukraine came from behind to defeat South Korea 3-1 in a clash of first-time participants at the Under-20 World Cup final.

Saturday’s match at Lodz, Poland, saw South Korea take an early lead when Lee Kang-in converted a penalty.

Dynamo Kiev youngster Vladyslav Supriaha scored twice for the Ukranians and fellow clubmate Heorhii Tsitaishvili sealed the win with a late third goal.

Ukraine becomes the 12th different country to with the U20 title with Supriaha the first player with multiple goals in a final since Oscar scored a hat trick for Brazil in 2011.
