An important bantamweight fight has been added to UFC 241.

Cory Sandhagen vs. Raphael Assuncao is scheduled for the Aug. 17 card at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif., sources told ESPN.

Sandhagen (11-1), considered a rising star at 135 pounds, has won his last six fights in a row. He most recently defeated John Lineker via split decision last month.

Assuncao (27-6) is coming off a submission loss to Marlon Moraes in February. Prior to that he had won four fights in a row.

The event will be headline by Daniel Cormier vs. Stipe Miocic 2 for UFC heavyweight title.
