Houston Rockets forward Kenneth Faried will miss at least the next two games because of an adductor strain.
Rockets coach Mike D’Antoni told reporters Thursday that the next time Faried, who underwent an MRI, could potentially play would be next Monday against the Hornets.
Faried is averaging 14.9 points per game this season, ranked fifth among Rockets players.
Faried has missed the last three games since suffering the injury last week against Charlotte.
The Rockets host the 76ers on Friday and have a road game Sunday against the Mavs.
