Memphis Grizzlies rookie forward Jaren Jackson Jr. has suffered a right quad injury and will be sidelined for the foreseeable future, league sources tell ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. The franchise plans to be cautious with a timetable on its young star’s return.
Jackson Jr. was ruled out for Friday’s home game against the Los Angeles Clippers after being listed as questionable.
The rookie out of Michigan State was averaging 13.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, 0.9 steals and 1.4 blocks in just over 26 minutes a game.
