The A-League’s bottom two couldn’t be split as Central Coast Mariners and Brisbane Roar played out a draw.
Central Coast Mariners grabbed their first win of the season and broke their 10-match losing streak being Melbourne City at the Central Coast Stadium.

Central Coast have confirmed the signing of ex-Premier League player Jem Karacan for the remainder of the A-League season.

The 29-year-old Karacan, a former Turkey youth international, arrives from a stint with English second-tier Championship club Millwall having previously played for Reading and Galatasaray.

“The Mariners have been unfortunate not to have gotten a few more wins on the board so hopefully I can bring my experience and strengths to help the team push up the table,” Karacan said on Thursday.
