Dinwiddie rocks Stan Lee-inspired sneakers

NBA

Nets guard Spencer Dinwiddie — who is wearing a different pair of sneakers for each game this season — is honoring Marvel icon Stan Lee, who died Monday at 95, with a Marvel-inspired pair of sneakers on Wednesday.

In a post to Instagram, Dinwiddie shared the colorful shoes he’ll wear against the Heat with this caption: “Game 15: @therealstanlee RIP. My childhood was basically Iron Man and Vegeta. Thank you for all the memories. Nothing more needs to be said.”

Lee co-created numerous superheroes, including Spiderman, Iron Man, the Hulk, the X-Men and Thor.

Dinwiddie, who wears his brand, K8IROS, has honored other sports and entertainment legends this season, wearing sneakers inspired by Colin Kaepernick, Prince, Muhammad Ali, Allen Iverson and Jesse Owens.
