Thunder’s Adams out vs. Suns with calf tightness

NBA

OKLAHOMA CITY — Steven Adams was a late scratch from the starting lineup for the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday, after he experienced some tightness in his left calf during pregame warm-ups.

Adams left the floor to get checked and treated, and his availability to return is in question. Nerlens Noel started in place of Adams.

Adams, 25, is the cornerstone of the Thunder defensively and is averaging 14.0 points, 12.3 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per game this season.
