Sources: Pistons’ Kennard likely out 3-4 weeks

NBA

Detroit Pistons guard Luke Kennard has a sprain in the AC joint in his right shoulder, the team announced Friday.

Kennard will begin rehabilitation and will be re-evaluated again in two weeks.

Sources tell ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski that Kennard is expected to miss three to four weeks.

Kennard left Thursday’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers after running into a Tristan Thompson screen.

Kennard is in his second season with the Pistons after being selected 12th overall in the 2017 NBA draft. In 73 games last season (nine starts), he averaged 7.6 points and 2.4 rebounds.
