PHOENIX — Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker strained his left hamstring and left the game for good late in the third quarter in Wednesday’s loss against the Los Angeles Lakers
Booker pulled up on a drive and grabbed his hamstring before immediately pointing to the Suns bench to ask out with 1:41 remaining in the third quarter. He gingerly walked back to the bench under his own power.
Booker, who had offseason hand surgery in early September, left with 23 points, seven assists and seven rebounds.
The Suns lost 131-113 to the Lakers.
