It’s no secret that when it comes to non-footballing hobbies, Neymar is heavily into comic books and body art.
Indeed, the Brazilian’s extra-curricular passions came together last month when the first issue of his new graphic novel series, “Inked: Art Animates Life” (a story about a superhero with magical tattoos), was launched.
Skip forward a few weeks and Neymar is once again combining his twin loves in the latest addition to his own personal tattoo collection.
Already covered head to toe in ink, the PSG forward managed to find a bit of free space on his back for a couple of new pieces.
Sharing an image of his handiwork on Instagram, the tattoo artist responsible, Sao Paulo-based Thieres Paim, was left to do the introductions.
“As everyone knows, Neymar is a fan of the characters Spider-Man and Batman. Today I had the pleasure of tattooing them on his skin!” he wrote.
Nicely done, but they’re sadly not a patch on Alberto Gilardino’s cartoon-inspired Peppa Pig masterpiece.
