Patricio “Pitbull” Freire will defend his Bellator featherweight belt against Emmanuel Sanchez on Nov. 15 in Tel Aviv, Israel, the promotion announced Monday afternoon.

Freire (27-4), who reclaimed the division’s title in April 2017 by defeating Daniel Straus by submission, is coming off a split-decision win over Daniel Weichel in July in Rome.

He will be making his Bellator-record 20th appearance in the cage.

Sanchez (17-3) has won five straight dating back to January 2017. He holds victories over two former Bellator champions in Straus and Marcos Galvao.

The Tel Aviv card will also feature Israeli fighter Haim Gozali (8-5) against Ryan Couture (11-6) as well as Phil Davis (19-4) taking on Vadim Nemkov (9-2) at light heavyweight.
