Denver Nuggets general manager Calvin Booth interviewed on Sunday for the Sacramento Kings general manager opening, a source told The Undefeated.
Booth was recently promoted to the Nuggets general manager position. The Kings opening, however, is the top position available in basketball operations.
The former Kings center ranks second behind president of basketball operations Tim Connelly in Denver.
ESPN.com’s Adrian Wojnarowski previously reported that Minnesota Timberwolves executive vice president Sachin Gupta, Houston Rockets assistant GM Monte McNair and former Atlanta Hawks GM Wes Wilcox are among those advancing to a second round of interviews with the Kings.
The new GM will be replacing Hall of Famer Vlade Divac.
