Denver Broncos quarterback Drew Lock has a “pretty severe strain and bruising” in his ribs but no fracture, further testing revealed, a source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Lock is day-to-day, but it is uncertain if he will recover in time to start Sunday against the Miami Dolphins.
Denver coach Vic Fangio said Monday that if Lock misses too much practice time this week he would not play.
